Mystery Banana Multiplication

The mystery nanner is producing a pup (or perhaps a sucker). The strange thing is that the pup is located at the base of the smaller banana. It would seem that the larger banana would be the parent plant. I'm not sure which is the parent plant; the old corm may just be generating another banana. Either way, they are all beautiful.
